About World Sober Music Day

World Sober Music Day is charity organization that uses 100% of all profits to help assist grandparents and other family members that are raising the children of deceased or absent addict and/or alcoholic parents.

Due to the current opioid epidemic, there are more grandparents raising children in United States than ever before.  Caring for the children of absentee parents is rarely planed for and can cause a great financial burden for the family.

Each year World Sober Music Day will be celebrated to acknowledge and appreciate the family members that are raising those children and to embrace the impact and importance of music, as a part of recovery.

World Sober Music Day is recognized on the third Saturday of September, every year.
